Dear Martin:

Your geographical questions remind me of a hard one that I accidentally
discovered while looking at a large globe. Find two places in the world that
used to have the same name and are diametrically opposite each other, i.e. you
can go from one to the other by going straight through the center of the earth.
The poles don't count. The answer is in the enclosed envelope. No-one has
been able to find it, but I am sure that if you put it in your column a number
of people, besides those I have told, will find it. It is interesting to
know if it is common knowledge among the inhabitants of the places.
